This isn't actually a fic I've read, more one that I've heard of and would like to read but can't find. Hope that's O.k. The title is "Gone The Way Of Bellbottoms and Disco" and it's by someone called Estrella30. Unfortunately I can't find either the fic or the author. Any help gratefully recieved.

So, I read this RayK/Fraser story a long while back.

I think I remember Ray and Fraser in a hotel room. Some gangsters or something have them locked up in a room.

They're trying to escape, but the gangsters walk in and Fraser kisses Ray, pretends that's what the noise was.

I'm vague now if that's the end. Unless I'm mixing it with another story, Fraser and Ray drop out of the window to the floor below, where the owner of the building lives? She's an older woman who's unhappy with the guy renting the floor above.

Pretty rubbish memory I know!

+ If anyone knows of any RayK/Fraser in which Fraser is lusting after Ray (and gets him at some point) that'd be good! :)

I am looking for a story I read probably ten years ago (!) on the old Squidge/Hexwood archive that involved the following elements:

- angst relating to Fraser's inability to handle deep emotional/physical connections from...
- how his grandparents raised him (there was definite emotional/psychological abuse, maybe physical)
- there was a scene with a tub (maybe?)
- Fraser was slapped at one point by Vecchio's mother because of how he was treating a visiting family member's kid (but he didn't know any better)
- he eventually admits to some traumatic (in retrospect/or after speaking with another person about what is normal and acceptable) childhood memories

This is a pretty old one.

Paul Gross and Callum Keith Rennie are shooting an episode of dS and somehow get sucked into the fan fic universe where they are at the mercy of fic writers until Callum reminds Paul that Paul is also a writer. Paul gets out a notebook and attempts to rescue them by writing them into scenarios that get progressively closer to canon until they can escape. In the meantime, they pass through h/c fics, slash fics, het fics, etc., until they rescue themselves.

Hello everyone!

I'm trying to find two stories, and it's driving me insane. If anyone recognizes either of these descriptions, I would appreciate it if they'd give me a title or an author.

The first story involves Fraser bringing RayK a small, brown bag full of sugar cubes as a sort of courting gift. He says that Ray never seems to have any, and Ray thinks "sweets for the sweet" or something along those lines.

The second story involves RayK using sex as a means to provoke Fraser. He backs him into what I believe was a men's room and instigates a sexual encounter in order to get a rise out of Fraser. Fraser, surprisingly, just goes along with it, and afterward calls RayK a "bastard" or something along those lines. It develops into something more meaningful from there.

So there is the final update... Over the past day we have processed around 11 million jobs out of the 12 million that were in queue at that time. Please bear in mind that over this past day, more jobs for notifications are also created. So while the queue has been dropping, we are still not fully caught up at this point, due to backlog and new jobs. We have roughly 3 million jobs still pending that involve the notification system in some manner. We had hoped we could have fully cleared the queue in a day, but unfortunately we can't clear it too quickly, since we need the rest of the site to operate normally. From our current perspective on the amount of jobs that are left in queue, and how many it has processed thus far, we believe it will take around another 8 - 12 hours to process everything.
